    Better players?

Folks, hope this is the right forum for this, but haven't seen any comprehensive match reports, (and we haven't got Foxtel), but who were the better players?

Obviously Ryan Cross got the try, he and Gits got good write-ups in the reports I've seen.

How did Mr Mitchell go this week?

    Any other performances of note?

I'm in the same boat... Sharpe got man of the match, so must have done well.

From seeing on Foxtel....well...most of it on Foxtel..the replay is on now..

I can only point out some of the less then better performances....

Cannon on throw in....but the weather didnt help.

I thought Sharpie was solid byt not a stand out and he was genuinely surprised when given man of match award

i thought henjak had another good game, mitchell was steady at 15. tackling by force was immpressive gave stormers no time at all in the 1st half.

Sheps was outstanding with the boot... kicking 6 from 6.
Mitchell played a good game... nothing incredible but he did what he needed to do, when he needed to do it.
Gits and Henners played brilliantly with eachother... Very impressed with both their performances.
Was very surprised myself when Sharpie got the nod for man of the match but he did play a very solid and consistant game.

All in all I think it was a good performance and hopefully a taste of things to come.

yeah.... the look on his face was priceless!

I like the idea of a giant credit card instead of a giant cheque...

good luck to him finding a wallet big enough to carry it! hehe.

3 mins to go Krusher... I think it is fair to say you have missed it

I'm still not convinced that Cross is our best outside centre choice. I'd prefer to see Spanner at 13 and move Cross to the wing. He looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights when he gets the ball in open play (ie not a backline move).

Other than that.....hookers.....your throwing in was appalling!!! Hope to see a big improvement in that area next week.

i think the best player was henjak today he did really well and he didnt make many mistakes. cross also played well and he was very smart wen he blocked that kick and scored.

I just watched the replay on Fox & thought Henjaks game was fantastic - cover defense and at the breakdown under a lot of pressure from the opposition.
Gits kicking game was the difference and gave us a solid field position.
Sharp was solid but not influential
Mitchell a much improved game and Shep outstanding.

I thought Pelesasa straightened our attack and made us look more dangerous in the first half and Cross a pretty good game as well.

Dissapointments though for our Lineouts. If we give away that much possession against the Bulls next week we will be in trouble.

But if we look at the table we are in 2nd right now - and 5 points is nothing to sneeze at

    GO THE FORCE !!!!!

Yep, I got up to watch it. Drew Mitchell was much better and what we were expecting. Cross is still a bit of a worry in attack, but great defense. Junior had limited opportunities but did well. Shep's just a legend.

Lineout and the 2nd/3rd phase rucks seem to be a concern. Lineout mainly. Even though the boys didn't progress much in the rucks, at least they kept possession (mostly) - unlike the lineout!

I thought Yaks was awesome, defense and offense! he's comong along in leaps and bounds............ WATCH OUT GREGAN!!!!!!!!!

good to see only 11pts in our points against stat, good defense is the key to a good attack!!!

It sucked to get up that late and only get to watch 3/4 of the game!!!
