Truth is I think they rate him so highly that if he can walk then they will play him, personally I think its too late in the season for him to recover any sort of form and fitness. My view is that they need to settle on a 10 during the upcoming 6Ns, and allow some confidence to build regardless of results. My choice would be Shane Geraghty from London Irish... but hey it's not for us to intrude in their grief now is it?

do you think that the world rankings etc.. could have something to do with the groups like New Zealand having maybe two top sides (albeit not quite to the code that we hold dear espesically dear richie mc craw ) and the currant lack of form of the poms ( Wilks has no hope of getting form back - don't think he has played a game since the world cup final ) - maybe the Kiwis have like an easy time in the groups and the others have to work for their place

I'm pretty sure how it works is that the first spots in the Pools are from finishing place in the previous WC rather than Rankings ie England as Winner go Group A #1, Australia Runner Up Group B #1. NZ beat France in the Play Off, therefore C&D #1's. Not 100% on how the rest of the Pool positions are determined though.
