    Wallabies Match Times

    Must be mostly day matches?
I think I have gone the right way converting the listed AEST times, subtracted two hours....

MANY Australia fans have already given up on winning this year's Rugby World Cup in France, but at least they won't lose too much sleep following the troubled Wallabies' progress on TV.

For those not fortunate enough to make the trip, Cup organisers have announced a schedule which is not too unkind to Aussie lounge-rooom fans.

The opening Pool B game with Japan kicks off in Lyon at 8.45pm (AWST), and is followed by Wales (Cardiff 8pm) and Fiji (Montpellier 7:30pm).

Even if Australia quualifies, as winner or runner-up of its group, for the quarter-finals, there's no reason to bring out the alaram clocks, with both games starting in Marseille at 8pm.

It's a different story for the semi-finals and final, with all three games, plus the fourth and fifth place play-off, kicking off in Paris at 2am.

I reckon they stand a limited chance of challenging for a spot in the semis. The big issue is playing form players, not the known players. Take Fava for instance. Made the squad and trained with the Wallabies instead of playing in the one off APC. David Lyons gets picked ahead of him for the European tour because he had such a good APC (Fava wasn't allowed to play APC).

As it stands Lyons had a non descript tour and again is now injured. Should have been Fava's tour. Think of others that should off had these opportunities (Staniforth) but didn't get a lot of focus.

You need to pick the best squad available (not just the better known names)
