    Ashes: The Poms take a fantastic......

    Yes the Poms take a fantastic toss and are in to bat first in Adelaide. As I write the poms have currently got a blistering run rate of just over two an over but are trying hard to put the handbrake on and get back down below two. After almost 30 overs there's only been two fours scored and two batsmen have fallen to Clark who is all over them like a cheap suit. And Warnie is in blistering form who after six overs has had two maidens and given away 7 runs...awesome stuff by Australia. It appears that the latest england tactic is to take cover behind the parapet and hope that Australia go away.

    hahahaha .. did any one mention to the poms it isn't practice hitting and this game does count ???

    Nothing wrong with a bit of good old-fashioned patient cricket. Occupy the crease, keep your head down and the runs will come. We've got too used to ODI run-rates in Test matches...
