ALTHOUGH Eddie Jones is contracted to Queensland Reds, the former Australia coach yesterday confirmed his interest in the England job - if approached.

Jones has emerged as a contender to take charge of England for the 2007 Rugby World Cup following Andy Robinson's resignation on Wednesday.

"I'm committed to the Reds, but I'm not ruling anything out," Jones said from the Queensland camp on the Gold Coast yesterday.

"What harm would it do talking to the Rugby Football Union?"

Cynics would say England's chances of winning :-)
