can u only enjoy something when you have a good knowledge of it?

and not trying to pick any arguements but in MY opinion and MY interests there is not much else to do in Perth so sometimes sporting events are the best option of entertainment.
So you choose to focus on the one line above the "however" than the supportive stuff below it? With gritted teeth I at least tried Luke, goodbye.

    Well said, Burgs.

Regarding that Fox Sports article - it's REALLY not hard to set different blocks of tickets aside for different groups, who are then given a certain number to call or website to visit, to book their tickets. It doesn't matter how fast tickets sell, if you set it up right in the first place!

Poms are not allowed to ask questions..only to do what they are told. And sing crazy songs and take Pommie flags to the cricket with the scrawlings of the're favourite soccer (football) teams names on it. That bit I dont get. Pomlandians are crazier than Frenchmen

the barmy army complained to the Gabba officials for playing a satirical song about the english during one of the session breaks yesterday or the day before and at the same time are complaining about being treated like children....anybody see the irony in that?

And, it is perfectly ok to ask questions but there are some people who have a habbit of asking questions in a manner that offends or is confrontational, which is fine at times but not all the time! Ignorance is no excuse for bad manners or stupidity!

From what I can tell the Barmy Army being split up was a move by QLD Cricket, The fanatics also suffered the same fate and it was in retaliation to extremly poor behaviour from large groups of people at past Australian games in the last few years. Yes the Barmy Army and the Fanatics alike do add to the atmosphere but I dont enjoy the mexican waves filled with rubbish that we had been getting up here of late. And to add to it they weren't that split up they had 2 1/2 sections about 4 or 5 sections apart from each other and sounded just as good yesterday when they where split up as it did today when they sat together...

    Cheers AS.

I assumed it was his lady friend but had no idea exactly who she was. Nice to see he's moved on from Kim. I hope he is insanely happy and recovers quickly from his injury.

....and doesn't get selected because he is an unproven hack!
Stick with the XI we have or bring in MacGill for Martyn for Adelaide but please don't try and get an "All Rounder", we already have one with Gilchrist!

    HOWEVER!!!!

I agree that it is very dissapointing that this mob of nutters who have in good faith put their hard earned forward to have a given experience that was underwritten by their representitives actually flying out to talk with the ACB back in May and get permission for activities are now faced with this kind of treatment.
I can understand them being pretty pissed and it is very un-Australian of whoever is reasponsible to go back on your word and to be so kill-joy.
I have a feeling there may be an ego issue behind it all somewhere between the ACB, QCB and/or the Gabba, with our guests being caught in the middle of it, but that is just a hunch.
    Poor form anyway
Remember, this is Queensland where rednecks are given priority in Police selection. I have a Maori mate who was ejected from the last AB v Aus clash for waving a silver fern flag. The pass mark in IQ selection in the Qld police is 4
