It wasn`t Beaver was it...Reckons he slipped and hit the wrong button, sure he did...Could be one of those crazy scots, poms or sef efricans...No true blue Wallaby supporter could truly back this useless excuse for a prop...

Matt Dunning must have infiltrated the website and signed up his support Al. "Matt Dunning for Fly-half at France 2007!"

Dunning is better than Baxter( though not by much), though he is prone to brain explosions...At least he can scrummage, sort of, and is amusing to watch him run as fast as he can, always gives me a chuckle

Well, good old HR Huff & Puff played in the manner we have become accustomed
For continuity of thread I have brought my comments over from the main Wallabies v Ireland post mortem:

"Some encouraging signs for the Wallabies in some of the defensive work and "mysteriously" while Baxter was off the front row held their own.
It would appear that "Blind Freddy" may be required onto the selection panel as the obvious just doesn't seem to be sinking in for the current bunch.
Firstly, with the loosehead, absolute joke until Benn Robinson came on for immediate impact in the loose and immediate correction in the scrum."

Fair dinkum, he just outright has to go.
Baxter plays a full forty minutes, scrum is a disgrace and continually drops on the Wallaby loosehead side.
Baxter goes off, scrum is immediately stable and functional on the tighthead and loosehead feeds.
Baxter comes back on in a position he has played for forty odd Tests, scrum is a shambles.
How blatantly obvious do the wonder forwards mentors need it to be???
For me Holmes is the answer however, while injured give Robinson his shot.
He certainly did nothing to disgrace the Cap and was immediately all over the ground.
If the change hadn't been made at the break I was going to bed, it was a waste of rum and the TV was in serious peril

What is it that Knuckles sees that we mere mortals cannot?
This is the Prop that was singled out for those crucial penalties last Spring Tour, who cannot maintain a single decent engagement and who was patted on the head by a LOSING Italian Prop last weekend and did not respond.
The only time you see any passion from him is when he huffs and puffs at the National Anthem or complains to a Ref for penalizing him.
He consistently takes the easy option, usually to the detriment of the phase, in re-engaging rucks and mauls rather than finding the correct point of re-entry.
He brings nothing to the scrum.
He brings nothing to the lineout.
He brings nothing to the rucks.
He brings nothing to the mauls.
He brings nothing to the loose play.
He is a National disgrace in the tight and yet he is still picked.
Please, somebody...anybody....give me a good argument in defence of why he is even on this Tour, let alone allowed to continually be sent back into the firing line as such a weak link for opposition Coaches to focus on?
I have one reason for Al Baxter staying in The Wallabies' line-up; he's cute to look at!!!:
