tyler edwards was doin a bit of work wid academy last year but havent seen him this year..

benny hales seems like a good bloke..hes dedicated and this program will help him especially to put size on..

Just quick one two boys from last year, Darryn Van Wyk and Col Unasa both moved into the academy which is the next step after the NTS.

Ill keep posted what we are up to the diary idea sounds good.

Correct. Due to a shortage of locks. Pat O'Connor and Sharpey on Rep duties, Wobber retired and Rudi Vedelago injured. Tyler and Elliot Kuhlman-Hall toured.

Gday guys thought id let you know whats happening with the NTS guys..

We had 6 weeks training up to christmas which focused on basic skills (catch/pass, tackling technique and agility), basic gym technique and speed.. Just prior the xmas we had testing for a week which covered Fittness,Speed, Agility, Core Strength, Power Strength, ie 3 rep Bench (first year boys did not do power strength).

We had a two week 'Active Rest' period over xmas which required us to complete 2 gym sessions and 2 fittness sessions on our own, so that we do not lose all the work we put in before.The program resumes on the 8th of Jan where we will begin the 'Pre-season' phase of the program, which will run until the beginning of the season..

Will keep you informed when more news comes to hand..
