I am not a lawyer, but I dont believe that RugbyWA will ever be able to officially support a promotion like this.
Here is why.
Whilst I dont believe that LucasArts would be able to register or licence the use of the word Force in all of its connatations and meanings. I don't like RugbyWA's chances of surviving a lawsuit by supporting a Star Wars "Light Saber" promotion on a game day/night. Of course I could be wrong.

In the first week you are right they wont work. But If each one of those 30 manage to convince 1 or 2 people to get a Light Saber. And those 30 TWF members wont even have to say anything someone will see a Light Saber at the game say "thats cool, I want one".
The next game will have 60 or more people with Light Sabers, the Game after will have 120+. By this time it will be a safe bet that FoxSports would have picked up on it, so will other media services by the final game of the season. It is quite possible that 1000+ people will be waving their Light Sabers in the air like they just dont care.
This time next year all of Perth will be sold out of Light Sabers and Coach will have to have a new Forum on Saber Etiquette.

Sounds a bit like that pesky pyramid selling caper? Then again, im only a landscaper.
One of the worst actors of the last 25 years.
Do they make one that is a little shorter? It would make it more likely that people would carry them around. I couldn't see myself carrying one of them around to the pre-game or post game partying.
