A few facts about Matt Giteau you may know and a few you may not.....

· Matt's father Ron Giteau joined the Canberra Raiders in their 2nd year in the National Competition; Matt is joining the Force for their 2nd year in the Super 14.
· He is the 5th highest point scorer ever for the Wallabies and the only current player ahead of him is Stirling Mortlock.
. His 27 point haul against Fiji in RWC 2007 was the 6th most points by a single player in a Test
· He grew up in the same street as Matt Henjak.
· He owned a Mini Cooper Cabrio with the number plates 007.
· He has one older sister Kristy, one older brother Justin, and one younger brother Ben.
· For good luck before a game, he rubs his mouthguard on a mini Buddha Kristy gave him.
· In 2004, after spending most of the World Cup with a bright red streak through his hair, he was told by Eddie Jones to tone down his hairstyles.
· His long-time girlfriend Bianca plays netball for the Melbourne Phoenix.

I don't see what was wrong with a red streak? I mean which is worse for your rugby dreaklocks (the old george smith hairstyle) or a red streak through your hair? seriously Eddie Jones has little man syndrome, he just wants to be the boss of everyone at every opening...

There was nothing wrong with it apart from Eddie Jones being stuck in his ways... old ways at that.
