Tahs hit the skids in Ulster

Oh dear Sage, this was a very poor Ulster A side, not sure what benefit a touring side gets out of a defeat to amatuers and students. Still I am sure they had a great welcome in Belfast

Our is hardly an experienced squad either - when Will Caldwell is captain and he normally keeps the 'Tahs bench warm that's gotta say something.. still sounds like they got a lot out of the tour..

TLH, a bad weekend watching Bath get beaten by an under-strength Ospreys side so I needed to gloat about something...the tahs are such easy targets

Probably all went out for Guinness the night before and were feeling a bit poorly on game day. They played pretty well considering. If they had played AFTER the grogbog those Oirish would have been looking at a spanked botty.

    Interesting factoid:

2006 QLD Player of the year: Rodney Blake (Homebush, NSW)
2006 ACT Player of the year: George Smith (Cromer, NSW)
2006 WA Player of the year: Scott Staniforth (Bathurst, NSW)
2006 NSW Player of the year: Adam Freier (Sydney, NSW)

    Trend perhaps?
