Hi Everyone,
I just thought I'd inform you all of the recent success the Kala U12's had in the TASRC held over in Armidale NSW. The U12's took over 20 players, including 5 very strong girls, and were victorious & undefeated in Division 3.
As the team have been undefeated for the past 2+ years in their age group we wanted to see how we fared against eastern states teams & it seems the team is quite strong.
It was an awesome tournament and the kids first tour away, the bonds and memories made they will remember for a long time.
The games were:
Kala 12 - 0 Brisbane Grammar School
Kala 10 - 5 Peregian Saints Rugby School
Kala 37 - 0 The Kings School
Kala 17 - 0 Noosa Dolphins
Kala 24 - 14 Flinders Rugby Club
It was a shame the team wasn't put into a higher division but the lack of information on the Junior Club Rugby comp over here meant TASRC has no real idea of our performance...Either way is was a great trip and one more clubs should try and attend.
