Hmm. Not what Swain needs to be doing...
Blatant from the Irish.
Our blokes need to find something here though.
Take the shot!
Ahh well
They gave it a shake

“I thought I would have a quiet pint… and about 17 noisy ones.”
Coby Miln has had two good games now. You'd imagine we will be signing both him and Mac Grealy.
Max Burey very underrated I think. He is ultra quick has a great rugby brain and solid in D . I hope he gets some useful game time…. Definitely an asset.
Who won?
Edit: Disregard, I looked it up.
Miln definitely looks talented, but was a little loose and made a few costly blunders.
Burey on the other hand looked very good and I was surprised he was taken off so early.
I thought Palu and Landman looked really good too.
Potter had another good game and really looks a quality player - should be included in the Wallabies spring tour.
Leahy failed to impress and Tomkinson had a bit of a shocker.
Neither of our scrum halves had good games either. IFL made a few blunders although was good in cover defense and generally provided quick ball. Robertson was surprisingly slow and ponderous at times.
Great to have Robbo back. Disappointing we didn't have more scrum dominance with the strength of our starting tight 5 though.
It was a good tight game and it's really great to be getting this extra game time. Both teams made quite a few unforced errors though - hopefully we iron those out with this extra time on the field and in preseason.
That was an interesting game.
First up credit to Emerging Ireland. They were disciplined, accurate, fast, cohesive, organised and well drilled, and were deserved winners in the end.
Great learnings for our Force team. We were caught out early by EI but managed to pull our heads in and scamble well to get within a score of them by full time.
Despite the officials appearing to still have their P plates, we tried hard to work within the boundaries they set, but Ireland adapted a bit better than us.
As always I will focus on the postives:
Reed Princep, what a leader, led by example and got the team back into the game and almost home. Our best off season re-signing.
Divad Palu, since I first saw him in a club game early this year, I have been impressed, he really appears to have something to offer. Big body centre just what the doctor ordered.
Justin Landman, is putting up his hand for a "contract" of some sort, liking what I am seeing.
Nic Dolley is going to prove to be a decent acquisition.
Titi Nofoagatotoa another great little cameo, hope he gets some more game time against DHL WP.
Coby Miln, again like last week getting caught out a bit by playing against opposition a level or two up from what he is used to. However, he really looks to have a lot of upside potential. Another I think has earned and is worth signing on some sort of "contarct". He appears to have the rugby IQ just needs to be an environment where he is nurtured correctly and Cron is just that type of coach.
As expected the pack looked more stable with some of the more experienced players starting.
I think this team together with the Wallabies still to return and players like Pasitoa, Moli and HJH to return from injury will do us proud in 2025.

We scrum for posession, run for the try zone, bleed for the team and live for the game
For those interested, Emerging Ireland beat the Cheetahs 33-24 last night, with two tries in the final five minutes.
