The Western Force thanks Tim Anstee, Chase Tiatia, Ryan Coxon, Ben Funnell and Taqele Naiyaravoro who will depart the Club at the conclusion of their contracts on June 30.
Anstee played 45 games across five seasons for the Force, winning the Club’s Nathan Sharpe medal for the 2022 campaign.
Tiatia played 27 games in two seasons with the Force and was the Club’s joint leading try scorer with six in the 2024 season.
Funnell, Coxon and Naiyaravoro were all on injury replacement contracts during 2024 and provided valued input in the short time they were at the Club.
Force general manager of rugby Chris Goodman said: “Chase and his partner Eaden will leave the Force at the end of June having fully immersed themselves into the Club and Perth for the last two years. He will be missed by the close friends he has made here and the Sea of Blue.
“Tim and his partner Samantha have contributed positively to the club on and off the field for the last five seasons. Tim's hard work and dedication is acknowledged by everyone at the club including the Sea of Blue to whom he is a favourite. Tim has always been a team man and a hell of an athlete.
“We wish all these players the best of luck for their future endeavours.”

Damn. Tiatia is a big loss in a department we are already very thin. Guessing it's because they're being more strict with wallaby eligibility given rebels players need to find a home.
Would've been great to keep Anstee, although he's never quite realised his potential.
Coxon was excellent this year and would've been good to retain also, but understand there's not much room with Robbo, Hoopert and Pearce already on the books.
Hope that last comment points to a chance of Big Santi staying on.
I see rumour on Fbk of Wagner as well, but totally unsubstantiated.

We have had some great wingers over the past few years but a massive turnover which is disappointing.
Big shame to lose Anstee as well, hopefully that is the end of the departures as we need to build connections.
If we can replace these guys with wallabies from the rebels then that will improve the squad but still expecting the tahs to get the cream of the crop
ah man, i really loved Tiatia. he was a hardworking winger, with a great ability to find gaps and the line. Our best winger for this season definitely, and potentially last - he seemed to stay fit where the others kept getting injuries.

With the reduction to 4 SR franchises in 2025, RA has reduced the number of OS player positions for each.
This reduction will have forced some changes and limited options.
I would expect that some of the replacements will be from our older Academy lads.
See Hoiles on Two Posts still implying it a good thing reducing to greatness, all the while sitting next to Phipps and bemoaning the good Australian players lost to the Japanese Club system.
Bloke is a moron, absolute blindspot.
