The Western Force have bolstered their Fortescue Academy coaching staff with the appointment of former Club back Jonathon Lance as Academy assistant coach.

Over all the years that the Western Force has been in existence, I felt the biggest downfall in the past was not being able to retain the Rugby IQ that passed through the club.

Finally this is starting to change.

It is great to see Thrush, Holmes, Heilberg, Prior, Lance now being part of passing on their knowledge to the youngsters.

Well done to all concerned, keep up the great work.
