Stewart has got to be one of the best signings the Force have pulled. He constantly performs.

Brilliant win, well done boys, agree Stewart and Tizzano were massive and the halves pairing awesome

Coxon and Franklin have been great pick ups as well

Although we miss Rodda greatly. Franklin makes that loss way less than it could be. What an engine the man has.

    Tizz bleeds blue!

And like Nick White said… “Stewart is the glue”

    Can’t wait for Tazz’s stats

That was epic. But of course not without the customary heart palpitations near the end. Hands up who wasn't nervy, even after building a decent lead. In any event, after a couple of downers, that exciting performance has at least one grandson hooked. "I'm gonna try Rugby Pop"

And now we have Luke Jones as well, will be interesting to see what they do. Rodda said he will be back for crusaders game. Would be great to have some depth!

Luke Jones? I thought Sam Carter or am I just not as up to date?

Luke Jones was supposed to have signed with the Reds? Sam Carter is in a similar situation to Vunipola. Leicester still in contention Sarries lying 2nd. So I imagine either would require clearance.

Watching it back around the 22 minute mark. Horton & Stewart smash Paisami on our 10m, Stewart strips the ball & kicks downfield... counter ruck try. Typified the effort all night.

Murphy was desperate not to give the try. Called held up when he could clearly see from his position it was on the line.... w@nker!

Stewart was very motivated. He bested Paisami by a mile. His best game for us I reckon

It was Sam Carter at HBF.
    Evidently injury cover for Rodda.

Excellent post-game presser with Simon Cron letting Jeremy Williams do most of the talking.

Agree - Franklin has been good.
Young Lopeti Faifua put in a strong effort from off the bench.
So did Josh Bartlett (Prop) and Reed Prinsep BRow) and cameo from Ben Funnell (Hooker) - our Kiwi fill-ins.

    Some more observations...

A lot of penalties for the ball carrier being held up. At least 5 or 6 I reckon.

Williams departure proved how good he is in the line out, especially the defensive side. Not one won against the throw once he had left.

Back row balance is now spot on. Nullified a very good Reds back row. Prinsett has been solid.

Back line looked better with Potter at 15. He's a lot more potent than Burey from deep. Some really good link up play with Donaldson.

Kuenzle did great on the wing considering his inexperience in the position, hungry for ball.

I'm very grateful that Wilson juggled that catch to Kuenzle. Stopped the Reds momentum dead cos they we're coming!

Really impressed with how Nic White has bought in to the culture. Check the sideline interview around 70 minutes. He was desperate for the win

Well the faith finally paid off in spades, that was an outstanding performance by the Force.

Defence wins matches and as expected the defence stats are really good, almost all players got to or close to double figures in the amount of tackles made.

Hard to pick anyone out but special mention has to go to Tizzano, Stewart, Horton, Princep, Faifua, Spink and Kuenzel for leading the way.

Honourable mention has to go to Harris and Williams who were brutal in their short stints, we need both back soon and wish them speedy recoveries.

Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
