While it's a shame, we were all a bit shocked when they got rid of Sambo and IMHO replacing him with Cronno has been a good move, so I reckon they've earned the benefit of the doubt.

As long as they are making the calls within the bounds of what is reasonable. The ambitions are laudable, but they won't ever achieve them within the bounds of just SR and Australian rugby. They simply can't - the whole system is set up to prevent anyone being able to spend the sort of money it would take. In essence a couple of teams have been given a four lap head start on everyone, then no-one allowed to run faster than anyone else.
So depends why people are being moved on. If it is because they aren't achieving goals, those making the calls need to ensure they are doing and supporting the things it would take. And for some of their loftier goals, it would take structures outside Australian rugby to allow the development, game time and spend necessary. If they aren't prepared to support that, they can go through as many 'doers' as they like, they aren't the problem.
So are we any closer to knowing why Tony was moved on? Is it simply not meeting the time frames and expectations of a billionaire?
