    Work to do

This article continues to highlight the challenge RA have in building a culture of desire, not one of second best, for those who are eligible for multiple nations.
It is well known that "every kids dream is to be an All Black", even when born in another country.
It cannot be answered overnight, but it must be worked on.
With more time I'll put together a XV of current Internationals that are seemingly Wallaby first options that have either chosen to go elsewhere or have ended up elsewhere due to being unrecognised here in Australia.

Rugby's going through what soccer went through in the 70s, 80s and 90s- and in some part still is; players raised here, learning the game here, not even thinking about playing for Australia. Same thing will happen with cricket in 15 years.

    Expand on this bit please?
You mean will be chasing 20-20 dollars (Rupee...) or looking to another nation?
Understand your point if the former, but if the later then I think may be the other way around with Australian Baggy Green a prized possession.

One or two of the IPL franchises in India have offered a couple of players 2 and 3 year deals for them to not only represent the IPL franchise but also the same sides owned by the franchise owners around the world. Said players would need permission from the Franchise owners to represent their Country in International Cricket.

I assume he might be referring to that?

Yeah very simple, a lot of cricketers coming through are the children of folks from the old country, they'll be more interested in playing for India than Australia. Same like soccer in the 80s/90s and rugby now. They'd rather play for their parental heritage than the country where they were raised and learned the game.

    Interesting, thanks.
Had assumed you meant more the professional contracting side taking away from National honours as Jargs was touching on.
