Medrano sparking interest
on 30 April 2023
PUMAS tighthead Santiago Medrano could finally move to the Premiership less than a year after a move to Worcester fell through. Medrano, 26, was due to move to Sixways earlier this season but stayed in Australia with the Western Force after the Sixways outfit were liquidated. He is again attracting interest from Premiership clubs for when his deal with the Perth-based franchise ends this year. Medrano, who previously played for the Jaguares, has won 33 Test caps and is believed to have had a couple of nibbles from interested Premiership clubs.
boo!
but also no surprising....
This will put us in a relay bad position for scrums. a couple of new Props, a couple of average props. One wallabies quality prop.
Need to fill the breech.
Hardly a surprise given he was only back at the Force this year because his previous English club went guts up.
If he was a Tah he'd probably get a top-up under the Medrano Law.
