Didn't realise he'd had surgery first time. Big complication. Just to head off Gerry from taking the piss () - I've been around this block - same bone both feet. Right didn't respond so bone graft, screws, 3 months cast, 20% loss of flexibility. Hopefully he'll have a better outcome before 2024.
Does anyone know what happened to Kane Koteka. There doesn't seem to have been any news on him at all.
He received the initial injury in the last round or two of the 2022 season, rehabbed it in the off season and reinjured it in the Reds trial this year. Spent all year working on it and came back for what, a game and a half?
This injury will be the third time he's done it, with an approximate timeframe of 8 months - 5 months - this rehab to be determined.
I have no details of whether either rehab has been from surgery, but regardless of what he's done before, I'd be recommending the knife or a position in finance.

So I guess lock recruitment becomes a priority along with props for next year
Short answer, "yes"...
Longer version, I don't think as drastic as Props though.
We still have our '23 starting combo, so not as if thrown in raw this time.
McCauley will be a bigger lose now, but Kalapu and Williams are a long term future pairing and made significant improvements throughout the season.
At 27 next season Sankey will need to step up and Pugh has previously done a serviceable role as well.
Harris is also able to pack down in the Seconds with his best bud Williams as well.
Was pretty impressed with Luke Callan in the telecast Club match I've seen too, think he was Man of the Match the other day.
So no, none of those names are first pick Wallabies, however, perhaps among them is the next Pearce/Burey story...

That would be massively frustrating for the big fella.
You can see the frustration etched between the lines of that post.
Good to see he's turning that frustration into determination. Go well big fella!
