All this talk about the Wallabies and Super Rugby, but the most important thing right now is that Rugby player numbers are way down, and many clubs are struggling to find coaches, officials, and players.
Things are not good.
What can we all actually do to help Rugby and grassroots footy?
Don't write another post - set some goals and get involved.
1 - buy a couple of tickets to see the NSW Waratahs
2 - Spend a few bucks and go and watch a couple of Shute Shield games - and buy some lunch and enjoy
3 - Go to a local Subbies game on a Saturday and have a beer and relax and laugh at the imperfect Rugby
4 - Go for a morning walk and watch some junior footy - just for an hour and cheer the kids.
Just invest some TIME into Rugby in your area and be active. If we all sit back there will be no Rugby to watch in fifteen years - all our grandkids will be playing Aussie Rules and Soccer.
You don't have to be an official - just an active supporter

I hope that it is obvious to all that the original Author is based in Sydney. So feel free to buy tickets to the Force and watch and support WA Rugby.
