Our Queensland rivals are back for a pre-season hit-out! The Force will host the Queensland Reds at McGillivray Oval on Saturday, 4 February, in the first trial match of the season. All Members and fans are free to enter. The afternoon of rugby will be filled with children's rides, footy food, entertainment, and more!

The team will then travel East to take on the Fijian Drua on Thursday 16 February. Stay updated on how you can stream the match on our socials in the new year.

    Super W pre-season clashes confirmed

Round 1 of Super Rugby continues to deliver with a Super W double-header confirmed. The Super W team will go head-to-head with fellow rivals, the Melbourne Rebels, in a pre-season make-up match. Last season's RD4 fixture was cancelled due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the opposing team. Gates will open early to all, ensuring your seats are available from the opening whistle.

Non-traditional rugby state South Australia will venture to the West in an anticipated trial match on Saturday, 11 March, at HBF Park. This is the first time the women's South Australian team will compete against a Super W team, and there is no better stage than the Force's Field.

Not one, but three double headers!

HBF Park will host the final doubleheader on Saturday 22 April, in combination with our Armed Forces Round. An afternoon of honour, respected with two awaited fixtures with the men taking on the Highlanders and the women facing the Brumbies.

The Super W team will host a Festival of Rugby stand-alone game at McGillivray Oval on Sunday 16 April. Here various games of rugby will be played in the spirit of unity and celebrating our great game.

    Season Launch and Awards Night

I expect they will be post-season games and will be announced/confirmed towards the end of the Super Rugby season

That was back in February, and it didn't happen. I wouldn't mind having another game up there, though.
