As a kid growing up i used to spend hours with my mate playing"forcing back"-we used to line up 5m from the touch line and kick it out as far down the line as possible,my mate would do the same from the point the ball went out,and vice versa up and down the touchline. The ball had to go out!
I could only ever in my rugby career ever kick the ball about 40 metres, but from 5 metres out from the line, either side of the paddock,i could get it out at the 35 metre distance-mainly with the torp-I just cannot understand how some of these professional players cannot do the same

The players seem to be more worried about making an error. It has to come back to coaching.

I'm not sure about that. More like what Gunny mentioned. Extras. First to training, last to leave. Johnny Wilkinson, Matt Burke, Nathan Cleary, Andrew Johns - some of the ones I know did that - & probably all the good ones. No accident.

Just watching the Origin wash-up. Andrew Johns mentioned that Nathan Cleary stayed at the craypot for one & a half hours after the Captain's Run practicing kicks to get used to the unfamiliar angles. No secret why he is such a great player at only 24. Hard work.

NMS has 37 super rugby caps (according to Wiki). He's been playing in America, and may be looking to come home(ish). I'd be a bit worried about his injury history, though - he doesn't seem to have played much rugby in the last ~4 years. Mind you, if he had we'd have no chance to sign someone like him; when fit he was an excellent player (12 tries in 13 caps for the All Blacks!)

Great signing, still in prime of his career at 26

Exciting times, waiting for the names to drop especially the two we had so far this week.

10 current squad members till to re-committ or just for us to be told.

11 left or retired, of which 4 outside replacements have already been named.

That makes at least seven to come from pathways or outside ....
