Isn't the landscape changing soon, however? I heard it it relation to cricket, but assume it will apply to all sports broadcasting rights, that if the owner of the rights elects not to broadcast, someone else may take it up without having to pay for it? Its going to be a tough ask to get these gigs televised in any form (including on the news) when tv sports reporters don't even know or care about non-S14 competitions etc and AFL remains the only sport reported on in WA.

I was "lucky enough" to be on the Sydney bound flight avec le Dockers on Wednesday. What a bunfight at the airport! (For anyone watching on the news, I was the one with the

and sat next to Mark Reddings (Ch 9) on the flight over. He didn't even know about the APC or that the Force are playing the Tahs this weekend. In his words

"We won't be jumping on the Force Bandwagon for a few months yet"...

So don't only direct your emails to the ABC or Foxtel...email Tom Baddely at the Force. Tom is the media manager and in a nutshell its his job to make sure that talking heads like Mark Reddings know that the Force play all year. Let him know that the status quo is not acceptable to us as fans and we want some coverage of non S14 games as well.

Let the West know as well. Then I may not have to read the Courier Mail, Canberra Times and Daily Telegraph to get some information about who is in my team and who is out injured and whats been happening at training this week.
