    PRINCIPAL PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Western Force is seeking a principal partner for the 2022 season and is open to a long-term naming rights agreement.
Fresh from the club’s most successful campaign, the Force is going to market with an exciting opportunity for the first time since its rebirth in 2017 under the ownership of Tattarang through Dr Andrew Forrest AO and Nicola Forrest AO.

The Force has thrived since re-joining Super Rugby, the best provincial rugby competition in the world including elite teams from Australia and New Zealand. The club has secured its long-term future with a five-year participation license.
This year the club enjoyed significant success on and off the field with corporate partnership growth of 133% during a historic season highlighted by a first finals berth, which was secured through memorable back-to-back wins at HBF Park in front of more than 13,000 passionate fans.

With a Membership growth of 60% in 2021, compared to 2020, prospective partners will be delivering their message to a rapidly growing and engaged audience, which includes a social media following of over 176,000. With a 20% rise in rugby participation within Western Australia, this is a fantastic chance to be part of the next golden era of the sport that enjoys national, international, and global exposure.

At the beginning of the year, the Force launched a restructured Academy program in conjunction with Fortescue aiming to ensure the club is the number one nurturer and producer of local rugby talent in the country. The aim of the program is to provide a clear pathway for WA players to achieve their dreams and become fully-fledged Western Force and Wallabies players.

The club is also in the process of creating a First Nations rugby program starting in 2022, which will be focused on the delivery of meaningful and positive contributions to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through education, lifestyle, healthy living, and sports using the conduit of rugby.

As the only professional rugby club in the state, the organisation has inherently strong links to the community through player alignment, which sees Force players representing local clubs across WA, as well as attending training sessions at schools. The principal partner will be able to make a significant impact by engaging with all rugby stakeholders.

Western Force CEO Tony Lewis said: “This is an exciting time to be a part of the Western Force. We continue to strengthen on and off the field at a rapid rate with our maiden finals appearance this year and our matches being shown live on free-to-air on the Nine Network and streamed on Stan Sport. Public interest and positive sentiment has never been higher.

“The principal partnership is a unique opportunity to be an important part of an amazing rugby story.

"With the Bledisloe Cup returning to Perth this month and the long-term view of several international sporting events being held at Optus Stadium, as well as Australia’s bid to host the Rugby World Cup in 2027 gaining powerful momentum, the future is undoubtedly bright for the sport.”

If you are interested in the opportunity and would like further information, please contact Huw Lock, the Western Force Business Development Manager at hlock@westernforce.com.au or on 0476 669 606.

Still dreaming. An obscure outfit from NZ has been valued @ $2 billion so your offer looks pretty low-ball. However it might get that box. Old buddy, old pal.
