    Yes, I was impressed.

he certainly seems to be passionate about the task and doesn't appear to be daunted with the assignment Twiggy has given him.

I'm interested to see the outcome of the couple of unnamed players that Kahui has been involved in their attempted recruitment.

Interesting his comment that Hodgo is taking a more hands on role with the team. Is this a consequence of Sambo maybe struggling a bit this his first Super season? (Aka attacking strategies?)
Also liked his opinion on the poor reffing decision regarding Thrushies try!

Probably more that Hodgo previous role was GRR expansion and player related which clearly is on hold rather than any deficiencies of Tim's would be my thoughts.

AFAIK, Hodgo has no credentials or experience as a coach except at junior level. He’s certainly not as credentialed as Sampson. I did see he was in the coach’s box in Melbourne though. If I was Sampson and the CEO has indeed put Hodgo into some sort of coach role to ‘help’ me I’d be massively pissed off and feel totally undermined.

Sampson has done a brilliant job with a team of players from all corners of the planet who really only came together in January, particularly if he’s being pressured to field the ‘important’ names because of who they are rather than what form they are currently in.
