Great game, great effort by the boys.

I'm gonna say it early before I watch on tv and sports ears seems woeful these days for ref mic. But far out, definitely not consistent by the refs and 1 touchy on the eastern side by my definite drunken bias did not seem to want to lift a flag or anything the Forces way.

But good team by Force, good team of the Reds. Loved seeing the Force players after the whistle being amped up.

    What a win!

Possibility of the Force flying out of WA tonight on the Reds charter plane to escape lock down.

Need to be in ACT for the playoff.

I feel ratty about Stan's commentary and data. McArdle talked about the Force being booted in 2016. This is your job you biscuit. They also put up a Force hat tricks graphic and missed out at least Cameron Shepherd vs Brumbies 2009.

Thrush was immense. Unfortunately showed his fellow kiwis how to upset Tate.

    .
They'll need to. Kiwis have already excluded us from the bubble. In any event both teams will likely isolate when they arrive if they get out.

    Huge win by the boys!
Kahui showed why he should be starting after just 1 minute - so much class!
Fergus was also huge off the bench.
Ref did us no favours at all, but the reds did by opting for the scrum repeatedly at the end.

And Olofowela and Pulu - so good to have strike power on the wings even though we keep shoveling it sideways. Get Ralston back and we've got some real strike power out wide.

Big games from Koteka, Cubelli and Kaitu'u.
Can't believe we won that. Yeeeeeeew!

Force stun Reds, into Super Rugby finals

The Western Force have qualified for the Super Rugby AU finals for the first time in their 16-year history after a Jordan Olowofela hat-trick inspired them to a stunning 30-27 victory over the Queensland Reds at HBF Park.

The Force trailed 21-7 late in the first half of Friday night's match, but sparked by Olowofela's heroics, the home side hit the lead in the 74th minute despite being down to 14 men.

The end of the match was epic, with the Reds twice turning down a penalty straight in front of the posts in order to go for the win.

The Force held firm, winning the final scrum of the match after the siren before kicking the ball out to secure the win.

The result means the Force finish third, and they will take on the Brumbies in a semi-final.

The winner of that will meet the Reds in the grand final.

The Melbourne Rebels, who take on the NSW Waratahs in Sydney on Saturday, now have no hope of making the finals.

"It's great. I've been supporting the Force since their inception in 2006, and then I had the honour of representing them," stand-in captain Kyle Godwin said.

"And to be part of the first team to make it through to the finals, it's truly humbling.

"It's been a grind for the Force the last 16 years, and hopefully this is just the start for us, and we can do some damage and get some results in the next few weeks."

They just show so much fight! Amazing night and loved the team clapping the crowd at the end. Wish it had been a bigger crowd for them but can’t be helped with COVID I guess..

    Ok now!
We have to keep all 15 men on the park for 80!
    We have to run straight!
We have to run onto the ball!
We have to take the ball at pace!
We have to be moving on to the ball!
All the rest they seem to do quite well!
