I don't share the doom and gloom. Really only been towelled up by the Ponies - with many out through injury - and went close in Brisvegas. Getting close to our strongest line-up and hoping the injury gods are kinder. I have faith

OK. One game at a time.
Beat the Tahs ugly (or any how) and then think about the next game.

How good was Koteka, very underrated has been brilliant all year.
We didn’t do anything exciting but showed a lot of heart and fight and now we can smash the tahs and finish in third!

Sure has. I know it's a long time ago, but starting from the John Mitchell era we have always had strong loosies, particularly 7's. Mitchell was a great talent spotter. Right now we see Kane, Tizzano and Hardwicke all tearing it up. Wonder if the mentoring from some of our past players is paying dividends now.

Always great to beat the Rabble. Thought our defense was fantastic tonight. It is our defense that won us that game. Need to fix the lineout and kicking for next week. Great to see the scrum dominant again. Thought Koteka and Lezana were very good tonight, so was TK. Looking forward to being back at HBF next week. McGregor owes us some heart medication

I fucking despise the Melbourne Rebels with every ounce of my being but beating them makes me moist.

    Jesus, what a heart stopper!
Good to great performances by most. Lezana, Koteka, Timani, Godwin, Kahui and Olofiwela in particular I thought. The main things that kept us from getting the lead until the end were very poor kicking for touch (repeatedly only making 10-15m), lineout throwing and a couple of interesting ref calls.

Our attack looked much better and I think we would've been better served kicking for the corner a few more times and keeping the pressure on, rather than taking the 3.

Miotti was a definite step up, and great to see us using 2 lines of attack. Bring on the tahs at home!

Unfortunately we're behind the plague on the ladder in both points (1) and for/against(49)They also play the tahs so we need a big bonus point win next week to have any control of our own destiny. That being said, I think we're a better chance of beating the Reds than the plague are of beating the Brumbies, but it'd be nice to go into that game with them having nothing to gain and resting their stars and us needing not too much to get in.

Surely a carton fine. Still remember Sharpie doing it years ago at home.

The best hope we can have is beating the Tahs at home and the Rebels losing to the Tahs in Sydney. I reckon the Tahs will be up for a fight in their final 2 games. I don't see either us or the Rebs beating the Reds/Brumbies.

For those who think that some players are only here for the $$s.
Kahui is here to make a difference and to be with his family.
He could be earning a lot more in Japan.
How good was his turnover that Jack nearly stuffed up for the win?
    Sita is a similar story.
And it's bloody fantastic to see Kane back home.

Probably correct. But the form guide is not always a good predictor results. I had the same thought before the previous match at Suncorp. I think the stogy defensive game of the Force and the Rebels can drag the Reds into a scrap - sometimes. Both have gone within an inch of taking them down. The Brums are a different outfit. They can play up-tempo but are pretty good in a dock yard brawl too.

The banana skin game for us could be the Tahs. While their D can fall apart in the latter part of games, they can be quite good with the ball at times. Our boys will have to stifle that from the get-go. I suspect their young guns are capable of further improvement and might be good front-runners.
