For the last month or so I have been banging on about my theory that the Rebels and Coach Dave Wessels have a game plan that makes our team lose our shit and play like a bunch of 13-year-olds. Our skill levels drop and our decision-making goes out the window.

Combine this with the fact the Rebels got taken to the woodshed by the Reds on the weekend, there is a very real possibility that the Force is in serious trouble Friday night.

There is also the very real possibility that I am full of shit and we beat the Rebels by 20 and get a bonus point.

That’s tricky to answer without knowing the current form of the whole squad. Ultimately what I want is for there to be genuine competition for spots in the 23 and no ‘givens’ based on purely reputation.
