Surprising Fergus didn't get a call up. He's been outstanding the last 2 years

    An entire tahs front row?

Does Dave Rennie even watch rugby?

I mean I get it, medranos ineligible, holmseys old and our bench hasn't seen a bunch of minutes, but really? Swinton made it in and he made what? One tackle attempt on Tim anstee which conceded a try?

    Where's Fergus?

    Where's Brynard?

Where's any of the way developed 7 that are only really competing with each other?

I get the thinking behind it being mainly Reds and Brumbies, that is form, but some of the decisions for fringe players has to be all about what school they went to.

Next thing we know they'll recall Hannigan to fix our lineout issues

Lee-Warner and Stander are likely the only 2 I'd have in the squad from the Force and our backs have been trash.

Probably haven't watched enough of the other games to comment.

Kaitu'u is a sensible pick, he's been a standout, but I would pick every other front row in Australia including reserves before I'd pick the best waratah front rower, they've been abysmal.

    Re locks, they've picked
Hosea, Neville and swain with salakia-loto and uru both being hybrid 5/6 I guess you'd include Swinton in that category if he wasn't a large bag of poor wrapped In a Waratahs jersey. I think Fergus stacks up well in that group and can count himself as extremely unlucky

    Back row they've picked
Mcreight naisirani, samu, Valentino and Wilson along with the three I counted as hybrids, probably a harder ask for stander but they're clearly confused about what they want to do with the back row and tbh Swinton made it and stander has made him look pedestrian this season, I'm astounded that Hardwick, koteka and tizzano have all missed out as well. They would push mcreight all the way at 7, probably not make the 15 but you'd likely pick somebody like Hardwick in the 23 due to his versatility.

It seems that the more things change, the more they stay the same

Sorry I should have said extra two as opposed to "only two"

They’ve got F on their jerseys- nothing’s changed in RA world, they’re still a basket case.

I was surprised by Hardwick not making it as well. But is Hooper coming back straight in? Also are they looking at Samu filling that role in a pinch?

Brynard is not good enough for international rugby (imho), Fergus a little unlucky not to make the 40 man squad. He has had an impressive season so far and far better than Swinton.

Ok, I'll give you your brynard isn't good enough for international rugby and raise with neither is Swinton, samu, Gordon or bell.Bell and Swinton are young, so can be explained away with development, but then I'd return to an argument about Fergus or Carlo
