Sounds like this might be simply a standard negotiating tactic as his old man (or whoever does his financials these days), tries to extract some more dollars in a contract extension. Can we next expect stories that the Broncos are chasing him to solve their play maker problems?

Isn't he seeking an early release?is that so he can sign again for more money?

From the SMH piece I linked above.....

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the contract chatter has heated up at a time when Rugby Australia and O'Connor are engaging in talks about a new deal that would take the 55-cap utility back through to the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

I hope JOC or his manager dont mention the word "brand" this time.

I remember many years a ago someone saying a contact is not worth the money of the paper it’s printed on. I haven’t worked out the equivalent today. Is it not worth the electricity for the email? Not worth considering with some people?
I was just starting to like JOC again but I’ve no time for people that just try to scam the game, if that’s what’s going on.
