Interesting to see G&Gers already talking about the need to maintain an "even playing field".
Well that really worked well over the 1st 12 years!!

Would be great to see some of the young fellas come back. Micheal McDonald and Carlo Tizzano among others.

Maybe truth in that. He has come back from overseas and the Force can pay him a full salary. Tahs can’t compete against and Hunt is in the same boat.

Ryan Lonergan has signed a two year extension with the Brumbies. Force need to go after Fines and Lachlan Albert.

Waratahs boss Paul Doorn says the organisation will lose more potential recruits like Kyle Godwin and be unable to re-sign players such as Ned Hanigan until it receives clarity from Rugby Australia about the value of a new broadcast deal.

Unable to sign hanigan? That'd be the first time a rugby team admits they didn't have enough money to make their squad worse

What's the deal with this Len Ikatau bloke? Can't get any game time for the Brumbies but somehow makes the Wallabies. Could be worth going after.

The West saying Kyle is staying

Centre Kyle Godwin set to return home to Western Force after Waratahs fail to reach an agreement
    Nick Taylor
    The West Australian
Sun, 13 September 2020 5:00PMWestern Force favourite son, centre Kyle Godwin, is set to return to the club next season.
The Force are in discussions with the home grown product who returned from Irish club Connacht for the Super Rugby season.
He was expecting to head to the Waratahs when the season ended but they could not reach an agreement in what was thought to be a done deal.
Godwin, a former Aquinas College pupil, made 52 Force appearances before moving to the Brumbies and then Connacht. He played one Wallaby Test in 2016 but career was hit by injury.
Former Force captain Matt Hodgson, now director of rugby at Global Rapid Rugby, said only that Godwin would be “a player of interest”.
Meanwhile Hodgson is disappointed that Godwin, No.8 Brynard Stander and young hooker Feleti Kaitu’u, who were picked for the initial Wallabies training squad, but did not make the final cut.
“Disappointing for those boys that they missed out,” Hodgson said.
“Having been chosen initially was another step forward for the club. If you look back two years we had nobody on the Wallaby radar, now the coaching panel is talking to our players regularly.”

Good player. I would imagine Kuridrani will be off overseas next year and he will be the next Brumbies 13.

All the contracts seem to be 2 year contracts. Sign of confidence in the Force's future.
No other Australian side appears to be signing contracts at the moment, let along 2 year deals.
