Not this week but last week Kala had an interesting 10 in second grade. Previously a club backrower and super rugby prop. Maybe short on players due to injury?

Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!

Kala second grade forwards were generally older, heavier and less fit than Palmyra. Pally had a solid front row which weathered the Kala attack for the first 20 minutes until the Kala pack ran out of puff. Then the pally backs ran riot.

    Fitness, fitness, fitness.

I'm not running Kala down, they never gave up, and you can only work with the material you have.

Their first grade was the same, but their pack was bigger and fitter than their seconds, though they also faded as the game went on.

Oh, and the wind was worth 3 tries all day to the side which had the advantage of it in each half.

Kala's lineouts need a lot of work.

Roo Dogs got bitten badly in Res and 2nd by the look of things but the Prems keep doing the job. Anyone know what's going on?

It's currently not politically correct to acknowledge they exist, let alone that some of them may be less than perfect.

Struggling with injuries and depth like most clubs I am sure but first grade have really stepped up. Makara and Pama Fou dominating and the rest of the side has lifted around them. I think they both deserve a shot with the Force but pretty hard to get in with quarantine etc so Wanneroo's gain. The atmosphere at Kingsway the last few weeks has been brilliant, a few away games now though. Easy run home to finals as well now with the exception of Paly.

This season's finals make up is going to be the closest I can remember, Cott and Soaks are locked in but the next 6 sides are within 6 comp points of each other with 4 games remaining, everyone can beat each other.

The one good positive out of this whole Covid thing is that clubs can't fly players in to stiffen themselves up approaching the business end as the usual's always do and have had to rely on their juniors, the biggest cheque book means fuck all this season and that's the way it should be.

PS I'm not expecting to have to change my signature sign off for yet another season

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Westie, you're saying that like this is unheard of at Wests.

Do the names Cowan and Wykes mean nothing to you?
