by RUGBY.com.au staff
The Super Rugby AU lineups are in for round four and there are some changes across all the teams.
The Waratahs have made a host of changes to their bench with Jake Gordon headlining the inclusions returning from a hamstring injury.
Rookie hooker Joe Cotton comes onto the pine as well, along with Chris Talakai and Jed Holloway.
Angus Bell, who was a late withdrawal last week with a back issue, is out of the 23 while young halfback Michael McDonald and no. 8 Will Harris also miss out.
The Rebels have made three changes to their side for the clash with the Waratahs on Friday night.
Rookie Trevor Hosea starting alongside Matt Philip while loosehead Cameron Orr comes into the starting side with Matt Gibbon back to the bench.
Reece Hodge will start in place of Campbell Magnay, who pulled up sore after training earlier in the week.
On Saturday night, the Force host the Brumbies at Sydney's Leichhardt Oval and both sides have been forced into some tweaks.
Bayley Kuenzle will start at 10 for the Brumbies in place of the injured Noah Lolesio but there was no space found for Reesjan Pasitoa in the 23.
Scott Sio sill start at loosehead as James Slipper shifts to the reserve tighthead spot and Nick Frost starts in the second row with Darcy Swain out of the 23.
Will Miller will start at openside flanker in place of Tom Cusack while winger Solomone Kata has been named for his first Super Rugby AU appearance
The Force have copped two injury blows, forcing a reshuffle of their team.
Force captain Ian Prior has been ruled out of the team for this weekend after suffering a shoulder injury in his team's clash with the Reds.
Nick Frisby is set for his first start in Prior's place with Jacob Abel remaining on the bench.
Former All Black Richard Kahui will come off the bench after linking up with the Force last week.
Veteran prop Greg Holmes will miss the match with a broken thumb, replaced by Tom Sheminant.

Holmes to miss Brumbies clash with injury
YESTERDAY AT 11:36 AM SUPER RUGBY - AU
by Beth Newman
Western Force prop Greg Holmes will miss the side's round four clash with the Brumbies with a broken thumb.
Holmes broke his thumb in last weekend's clash with the Reds and will certainly miss this weekend's match but it is unclear exactly how long he will be sidelined.
Holmes joined the Force for Super Rugby AU after a visa snafu ended his chances of staying on with English club Exeter for another season.
The tighthead has been among their best players in the opening weeks, adding some valuable experience to the pack coming off the bench.
Kieran Longbottom has been starting in the no.3 spot while Tom Sheminant is also an option to come into the 23.
Returning Force prop Pek Cowan said it was a blow to lose Holmes but it would give those other players a chance to shine.
"Obviously it is quite a big loss but at the same time I think we'll show our depth where we've got someone like Kieran Longbottom and Tom Sheminant still being able to come in and fill that spot," he said.
"Again, someone like Greg is one of those guys that is a massive luxury to have either in your starting team or on the bench so for us as a pack that leaves a little bit of a gap but in saying that, we've got guys like Tom Sheminant getting that opportunity to learn off someone like him and Kieran throughout his time here so far so it's a great opportunity again and it's one we have to make sure we take.
Cowan is in his first week with the team after serving his two-week quarantine period on his return from Japan.
While he said he would be ready to play if called upon, he expects this week would be too soon to be injected into the matchday squad.
"We'll find out either today or tomorrow and like I said, I've only been here a handful of days so it would be a big ask either way," he said.
"Ideally I get a bit more time but at the same time I understand we've got to put our best players forward so we'll just wait and see."
Force captain Ian Prior is also going for scans on an injured shoulder
Prior said after Saturday's match that he felt the injury was just a bad "stinger".
Jacob Abel deputised for Prior in their round three clash while former Wallaby Nick Frisby is also training with the squad.

Be interesting to see how Frisbee and Lance go together. Both played for Qld at the same time, though Jono wasn't a regular selection. Holmes impact will be missed. Jooste could consider himself unlucky to not even make the match day squad, if not injured. Showed glimpses of what he can do so far. I hope they have done a shit load of line out practice. They should be even more competitive with two under the belt.
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
I think with Noah Lolesio out the Brumbies ark may be a bit rudderless and there is a real chance of an upset here, probably worth putting in Mick's Multi![]()

Very interesting to see Jooste out of the squad and Marcel still on the field. I would think there is surely some injury reason for that, great to see Taefs, get the run on start, he's certainly earned it. Marcel must be on as the organiser in defense, which will be especially important with Stitch sitting in the medical tent. I wonder if we'll get to see Godwin and Kahui playing midfield together during this match, you wouldn't want to be the Brumbies 10-12 with those units running at you!

Looked a forward pass on that try...
But it's a nice physical contest. Some good shots put on.
I can't believe how much Alaalatoa can angle in with the force being penalised for not pushing straight
