Super Rugby AU Teams: All the round three lineups right here

TODAY AT 10:00 AM SUPER RUGBY - AU
    by RUGBY.com.au staff

The round three Super Rugby AU teams are in and there are some big changes across the four teams playing this weekend.

Queensland's second row depth will be tested against the Force with Angus Blyth (shoulder) ruled out of Friday night's match.

Usual flanker Angus Scott-Young will start in the second row in Blyth's place alongside Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.

Chris Feauai-Sautia will start on the wing with Jock Campbell shifting to fullback and Bryce Hegarty back to the bench.

Front rower Jack Straker and Ryan Smith will come onto the bench for potential debuts against the Force.

The Force have kept their 23 relatively stable, bringing Ollie Atkins onto the bench for Johan Bardoul in the only change to the matchday squad.

On Saturday night, Karmichael Hunt has been elevated to the starting side for the Waratahs' clash with the Brumbies after a superb cameo off the bench against the Force.

He will line up at inside centre, triggering a backline reshuffle with Joey Walton pushing to 13, Alex Newsome moving onto the wing and rookie Mark Nawaqanitawase going to the bench.

In the pack, Wallaby prop Tom Robertson comes into a new-look front row after four months out with a back injury.

Tom Horton will have his first Super Rugby start at hooker, pushing Robbie Abel to the bench, while Angus Bell will also come off the pine.

Jack Dempsey makes his return to the starting XV after two weeks coming off the bench, swapping with youngster Will Harris.

Fullback Tom Banks is the major inclusion for the Brumbies in the only change to their 23.
Banks has missed the first round with stress fractures in his foot and his return will be a big boost for the ACT side.

Liking the same run-on team being given a chance of REDemption.

And a chance to see Ollie Atkins in action.

Would prefer to see Taefu in the 12 jersey. More powerful.

Thats a hard one, I would agree with you but Jooste had a very good game last week, so did Brache, so it would be very unfair to drop either one of them. One player who I feel we were really missing last week was Alcock, we really missed his hard word at the breakdown.

Well maybe, and I think taefs and kyle would add a lot more power to the midfield, but I don't think we had s hole there last week. I think the forwards got a little gassed and jono got a bit lost playing with a new backline. I think everyone will be better for the run.

That's one for the library. it's been a while since I've jumped around and yelled at the Tellie. Got a bit tired of the 'and another qldr in the Force' commentary.

Great game, very entertaining to watch. For God Sake Jono don't kick the ball, just run it, thats when we score and create gaps. We just had that 20 minutes we let our defence slip but we tightened up after that and had some super tackling. Ralston does not look out of place at only 19. I think Taefu needs to start next week, just added a bit of spark when he came on. Abel is just a little slow at this level. Hope Prior is not too badly injured. I think if Prior is out next week Frisby will have to start. I am so proud of our team. We are sure showing those Eastern Sateters that we are not that far off Super standard. We are really building something special and I smell a few upsets hopefully coming our way.

The boys put on some great back line play. Beautiful long passes from Lance and an absolute pearler from Jooste, which would have put us on top if taken. Some great wide attacking structures in those plays which will get some pay as combinations build. Very well coached.

Man of the match Nick Berry with an impressive 20 minutes both sides of half time, 2 tries for Qld and numerous turnovers of bullshit calls.

Shame we couldn't get that last try, but still a good showing for a bunch of Super Rugby rejects
