Chopper & I both tipped Canberra. So this means that out of a total possible total score of 12 points; the total membership (4) scored a measely 2 points.
However; 3 quarters of the TWF Mungo Tippers are equal leaders of the TWF Super Rugby Tipping.

    Possible conclusions:

    1. People who follow Rugby League know fuck all about it.

    2. People who only follow Rugby Union know fuck all about that.

    3. Mungo supporters are Rugby Union Geniuses.

    4. Chopper knows fuck all about either cause he's a Manly supporter.

Make of that what you will.

Shasta, between the Force men, Force women and Bulldogs, are you getting off the couch tomorrow at all?

Well, probably not before the Bulldogs match. Bit early for a trip to the beer fridge before then.

I blame the NRL teams! What the hell happened over the off season?
In good news the average score for the round on FootyTips was only 4.1 so Shasta option 1 must be the truth.

I'd love to know which law applied to that scrum penalty against Cronulla. I'm an old enough fart to have had my head in more than a few contested scrums and buggered if I know.

Some clown has come up with a salary cap scam which seems to reward the clubs with the deepest pockets for raiding other clubs' juniors and "developing" them into first graders. The first line of the article says it all, really.
The clubs with the biggest junior catchments generally - including even Penriff! - seem to be on the wrong side of the ledger. That just indicates to me that the system is broken and the benefits of this move are unclear at best. Dead set!

The Sydney Roosters would be considered a development club and be rewarded with salary-cap relief under a radical proposal that promotes the blooding of more rookies – and less player churn – across the game.

The initiative is the brainchild of Ramy Haidar, a sports management consultant who previously worked with Manly coach Des Hasler. Haidar has pitched his “Net Supply Allowance” idea to the NRL and some of its most powerful clubs.

Teams will always try and find a way to get round the salary cap (see Wallaby top-ups in union).
I recall one story when the NFL brought in salary caps, the 49ers were sailing so close to the wind with the cap that they phoned up the NFL office to ask whether the trophies and prizes which they gave out to players at a team-run golf day counted against the cap, and if they did, were they counted as wholesale or retail price!

Last time a game had a score of 70-10 was the Storm vs Dragons in 2000 - Nathan Brown was the captain of the Dragons then and the Coach of the Warriors tonight.

Also, Melbourne scored 70 points tonight - that's what the Bulldogs have scored in the opening 7 rounds of 2022.
