At the time Willagee had an ex-Kangaroo as captain coach - and 2 of his many (Kiiwi eligible) sons playing in that team with him. Any clues Jargs??

Yup. He went on @ 42yo to play 5/8 for Belmont with another 'Roo in Dave Brown. He was still too classy for most. He became WARL development officer & was involved in introducing RL to high schools. Legend! What might have been but for bastard Murdock.

He lived around the corner from me during my family's first stint in WA from 89 - 93 when we lived in Wilson. Bronx and Bryson Goodwin went to the same school, Wilson Primary.

So do you remember the sons who played for The Bears with him? Leon did,(who did a preseason at the Dogz but returned here) but I don't remember if Luke was the other one.

Penrith, Dogs, Reds, Wests + 2,UK - Wiki. He's a coach in the Dogs pathways now I pretty sure.

Looking at the years in his Wiki page it he probably was the other one who played with his dad.

No Gunny. Sounds interesting. Care to elaborate, or is that something that stays on tour?

I see. Actually, that moniker did ring a bell but I didn't recall when you posted. One of my mates was team manager for that early 90's Belmont side. I'll ask him about "The Witch". There was a racehorse with that name in the late 90's. So I "googled" it - 3 starts ; last; 2nd last & last. Sounds a lot like a couple of nags he owned at the time.
