Lots and lots of controversy over the South African refs and lets be honest they have been complete kak for the last few decades (with the exception of Jaco Peyper - who use to be a count but upped his game around 2010)
Alot of refs have been borderline cheating and the stats are incredibly damning. Even when you exclude Egon Seconds 20-1 penalty count when reffing the Lions vs Rebels it makes for absolutely damning reading.
A little write up from RugbyReg [who I have been really critical of on this very forum, but in this case the man has done good, i would cheers this man for his efforts] from G&GR has got the juices flowing. Lots of articles have popped up since.
I must say I am starting to appreciate the G&GR site for doing better investigative journalism than any offical news site in Australia, shame on foxsports, rugbyheaven(with horrible journalist like Georgina who suck up rather than be a real journalist) and the daily telegraph, theaustralian etc.
