Maybe the GRR rights will become more lucrative too, maybe Twiggy could threaten to move to Optus too unless they offer a better, fairer broadcast deal. I am pretty sure GRR will be getting shafted right now by Foxtel.

If they don't want to go cold turkey, wonder if they'd like to show GRR...

All up though, doesn't bode well for the NRC which would be a genuine shame.

They can fark right off if the Sydney and Brisbane comps are going to replace them.

Brumbies to enter GRR and if the Rebels want to join make them open up their books along with slapping 100 conditions on them. That includes replacing the people who been on the board for far too long and achieved very little.

I would definitely allow NSW Country in to GRR based out of Newcastle and Qld Country in as well. Twiggy running and funding the NRC is what he proposed anyway.

Rugby League and AFL drive Foxtel/Kayo subscriptions not Rugby Union.

Interesting that NZRU approved of Bay of Plenty (thinly disguised as Shanghai) playing in GRR. Some forward thinking at the NZRU to keep in with Twiggy and GRR. With the travel bans on China currently, I am thinking those games are going to get played in NZ now. A 2nd NZ GRR team in 2021??

Mean while the RA and the Sydney based power brokers blunder on. Kill NRC and Super and make Sydney club rugby the next level down from the Wallabies. Does not matter that probably more than 60% of Australian rugby fans dont live in Sydney/NSW and are not interested in Sydney club rugby.

The content on Fox Sports ATM is bloody abysmal. Replay after repeat after replay. Like most of Foxtel's content. They have just cut Eurosport too and I watch quite a few sports on there. I've kept Fox partly for the convenience of IQ. With an NRL season pass @ $99p.a. and plenty of streaming services available, I'll probably join the 21st century and tell them to shove it if they ditch Rugby as well. I haven't watched SR since they cut us but I've been hoping things at Moore Park would eventually get sorted.

Has anyone heard if GRR is going to be shown on FTA as originally planned? I haven’t seen anything as yet.

Every one knows that the main reason the Force no longer play in the super comp is because that's what New Ltd/fox sports? And like they have done in the past, they're now kicking the sport in the nuts. Every single person at RA that was responsible for the axing of the Force on the basis of what fox wanted should be flogged (personal opinion).

I always thought Fox wanted Perth in Super Rugby. Being 2-3 hours behind the east coast, we allowed them an extra time slot in which to schedule a match.

back in 2006 when it was a choice of Perth or Melbourne, Fox threw their weight behind Perth, didn't they?
