Billionaire 'Twiggy' Forrest donates $70m for bushfire fund

Mining billionaire Andrew Forrest has made a donation of $70 million in the wake of the bushfire crisis.
The major donation will go into a fire fund from his non-profit organisation Minderoo Foundation.
The $70 million fund is "designed to not only respond to the ongoing crisis and rebuild communities, but to establish long-term resilience by funding research into and applying new techniques in fire and disaster relief," the Foundation said in a statement.
"Through the smoke there will be hope."

Ten million dollars will be allocated to restoring essential infrastructure, hubs and community assets in areas ravaged by bushfires.
The fund will also bring leading experts together to develop a "globally relevant national blueprint for fire and disaster relief".

It's usually small minded wanker who attempt to cut down truly small poppies. That post confirms exactly what I thought about our resident wanker.

Yeah I dont care for the picture, i just posted it showing what is being said. Donating to yourself is poor form though haha. But fair game $20 mil is a decent donation.

I didnt make that picture up you toolbag. I posted it showing what was being said. Not too dissimilar to myself posting all of Izzys douchebag tweets. The thing is mate is that you are the resident wanker, the jokes on you. Your contribution here is like running nails down a chalk board.

Talking about generous donations; fantastic effort by Nick Kyrgios. ATP lists his career earnings at $8.2 mill. Plus endorsements which are probably not a whole lot in his case. Taking out tax and expenses makes a 200K donation look pretty impressive.

    Playing really well too ATM.
