Ive had an Akubra for 30+ years. The missus got it for me for when I'm in the garden. Hasn't even got a decent sweat stain - talk about "go boil ya head". Luckily I seem to have accumulated a large number of blue 'n" black baseball caps over the years. They are pretty well ventilated and get plenty of use. The Akubra - minus the sweat (inducing) band gets dusted off when I'm outside mid winter.

I thought he was advertising the Hard Ka ka brand. Continually wearing Bamboo under pants does tend to give that to you ..... as well as splinters.

No, but I'm toying with the notion of manufacturing bamboo beds which can be dropped from a height and then automatically convert into hats and underpants.
