There is no way she would be running anywhere in tears. She is a very strong and resilient woman who has dealt with so much shit in her professional life to date that nothing would faze her now. Least of all anything from a boys’ club.

This week the only one who looked like running off to the khazi in tears was the Australian coach. His cry-baby effort at yesterday's presser was a final embarrassment on top of a large shit heap of them.

    Really?
    Dear me.
Lets not forget she helped send the Canterbury Bulldogs down the gurgler.
And she claimed that she knew nothing about the backdoor dealings on how the Force was cut.
Sorry, but she must have known. If she didn't then she should not be in such a position. She should have done her own research before taking on the job.
She has been a puppet for Clyne which is how he has continued to control things
She needs to go with Clyne.

I reckon. I always wondered how Castle got the job after that Bulldogs débâcle. It seriously made it look as though the appointment was a puppet installation.

Not much reward from the kick tactics yet. Can't believe Sir didn't review that spear tackle from The Beast. It was a ted card for mine.

I wonder if the story about the massive public confrontation between Raelene Castle & Michael Cheika at the Tokyo High Commission before the Fiji game will come out now. Apparently stopped the party & ended with Castle running to the toilets in tears. Good synergy in Australian Rugby.

If Japan is now above Australia we are no longer a tier 1 nation so ther for dint get/deserve 3 test tours .
    Just saying.
I doubt we could have beaten them because our coach wouldn’t know how they played.

Bloody sad to see Japan go out. A victory today would have meant two more weeks in the competition, regardless of their semi-final result; would have been a joy to keep this ride going.

Ah well, thank the heavens for the Western Force next week.

It's a shame Pool A didn't cross over with Pool C or D, they would have made for intriguing quarter-finals for the Japanese.

Look who's back at the SMH. Starting to publish the odd article from Grub with what looks like with a demotion from Chief to "Greg Growden is a rugby columnist for The Sydney Morning Herald"

Late Cheik out: time for Wallabies rebuild and not a moment too soon.

Thus ends the worst of Australia's nine Rugby World Cup campaigns. Nonetheless, Wallabies fans should dry those tears because Australia losing to England, while always painful, is a blessing in disguise, bringing an end to Michael Cheika’s perplexing and debilitating five-year reign as head tsar ... sorry, head coach.
