    Perth Rugby World Cup Village

    Hi,

For those of you not going to JBs or your local rugby club to watch the RWC, we’d love to see you down at the Perth Rugby World Cup Village in Scarborough!!

We’ve hired the exclusive use of the Scarborough Sportsmen’s Club (75 Deanmore Road, Scarborough) and have got $20k of AV equipment going in there this week. It’s Perth’s only dedicated RWC venue and we’re partnering with Perth’s rugby community to show every game live and loud.

If you want to check out the FB page for more info, this is the link: https://m.facebook.com/events/944018199267827?ti=icl

We’re so excited about what we’ve got planned for the 6 weeks of the RWC and would love to have you there with us enjoying the best sports competition on the planet!

Message me if you want more info.

    Alison

    Hi Ali

Is this raising funds for any particular club or development team?

No, it’s not being run to raise funds. That said, there are opportunities for clubs to do some fundraising down there if they would like to. This piece from RugbyWA gives more info. At the end of it are the details of the person to contact about that.

Great idea, though would be great if on a train line. Public transport would be a hassle to get there

Get the 421 bus from Stirling station, it drops you pretty much at the front door
