That's one aspect of this concept that always seemed a possible negative to me. Apart from us and Japan, those countries only have three seasons. Hot. F'ken hot. F'ken hot and wet.

Not sure I'd say negative exactly, probably more challenge. It is simply a fact of life for rugby in those locations, and one the teams and competition will have to figure out. Just one of many things going forward, I guess.

That's nice if you're with a lady, but it ain't no good if you're on the rugby pitch.

Shouldn't they be playing the game at night in places like Singapore?

Do they have a rugby pitch that's well enough lit in Singapore?

Hong Kong probably, but I'd be surprised if Singapore has.

Well, as far as Singapore goes, they could always play here - and if it gets too hot they can take a dip during stoppages...

The main stadium in Singapore is fully air-conditioned even though it has no roof! It’s where they play the 7s and it’s fantastic.

The Force game isn’t being played there though as it’s too big. The game against the Dragons will be at Queenstown Stadium which I think is the home of Tanglin RFC??
