Still beggars belief that RA needs a bigger staff to run their operations than either of the AFL & NRL. Do they need extras to mind the fort while they are away on "business"?

Mate, anywhere west of Leichhardt is probably too far west for the good burghers of the North Shore.

    UTS?
    NSW State Government?
    SCG Trust?

The ARU/RA put $21.6 million government funding for the new Rugby Australia building on their books in 2017. So whose balance sheet has the Rugby Australia building?

#BREAKING: Wallabies star Israel Folau has been found guilty of a breach of Rugby Australia’s code of conduct, relating to controversial social media posts. A punishment is yet to be decided but Folau faces a termination of his $4m contract.

One thing I'm not sure on is whether Australian Rugby players' contracts are treated the same way as other collective agreements. Many "experts" say this will end up in the courts either way. But unfair dismissals in collective agreements are usually decided by the Fair Work Commission. If that's the case, my first thoughts have not changed. Gonski!

It’s not on RA’s balance sheet, that’s for sure.

That’s not surprising though. Same happened with the redevelopment of NIB; the WA govt loaned RWA a sum of money as part of the work to upgrade the facilities, but the asset itself belongs to the State of WA.

Even though RA spent $2 million less on that in 2018 than in 2017, it was still $15 million for the year. That was almost 4 times as much as the amount that was allocated to the state and territory unions last year (that allocation was $4 million in total for 2018; up $1 million on 2017, with NSW getting almost half of that extra $1million.)

    Continue the circus.

I reckon those 3 days would have cost him an arm and a leg. I doubt he can afford to appeal and lose.

I hope he takes them to court if he is sacked. What he did was far less severe than Beale who was given a second chance which was more like his fifth and got a 40k fine.
