Crowd looks better than I thought when they show the camera side of the stadium.

Happens when you run out a bunch of 2nd stringers for the sake of some bullshit rotation policy enforced by the fucking national Union.

Second stringers like Beale, Hooper, Phipps, etc? Player rotation is a excuse. This is what happens when you drop academies, recruit dad’s army for instant sugar hits and have poor underage results which don’t develop relationships and player confidence.

Brumbies brought on four local juniors against the Tahs all in key positions and got the result. The Tah’s solution is to bring back TPN for two games, AAC despite his 100 odd caps isn’t a champion and a leader’s arse and trott out Phipps who is leaving.

Crusaders brought out a B team with some newbies getting game time, and didn’t seem too fussed they got beat last week. Bounced back pretty good against Hurricanes.

It is like Leinster flogging an experienced Ulster side with Academy and fringe players. I would recommend reading Murray Kinsella’s pieces on this and he spent time with the Crusaders. Cheika put in the infrastructure and culture like White did at the Brumbies. Schmidt enhanced that with getting the Leinster sides from under age to seniors play a philosophy and a certain way. Personally I am very wary of playing the same way as players are different physically and mentally. Just look at Cheika’s test team. They struggle to adapt out of the one way.

Leinster have brought in so much talent and are flogging the Pro 14 this year having done the double last season. There was a lot of fear about developing Irish sides to get to expectant results given the development of Saracens and Toulon with talent laden proven sides. Buying their way to titles.

It has been proven that is not the case. Toulon have tanked and Sarries have still flourished. Mark McCall got hissed out of Ulster but developed Sarries in to a well balanced side mixing stars with local products. Previous coaches tried to load them up with stars and didn’t get results. Leinster brought in Graham Henry after having to fast track Leo Cullen after MOC was sacked. McKenzie and Deans both turned down the job. Imagine either of them taking over from Schmidt instead of Andy Farrell. Stuart Lancaster was brought in despite commuting from Leeds. I have rated Lancaster he was thrown under the bus quickly by England.

Andrew Deegan has been playing with a mission the first 2 games, can’t believe some of the hits he’s put on. But the whole team look fit & ready for the pace. Masivesi is being massive!

The same Mason that come down from Qld? The Tahs have struggled to produce a home grown since Ella retired. The players left or came from elsewhere like Barnes (Qld), Edmonds (ACT), Norton Knight (Qld via ACT), Mason (Qld), etc. Foley’s the only long term one they had and we know his flaws.

And we clearly didn't learn from their experience.
