Who won todays preseason trial between the Rebels and Sunwolves?

The score is unreported on rugby.com.au link not worth referencing due to bias reporting not mentioning the score but talking about their spectacular relationship (despite the Sunwolves about to get the chop, glorious relationship, go near the rebels and sayonara!!!)

Well considering the sunwolves are withering on a vine, they would, although I get your point, let em burn and we will pick up the ashes!

I thought the article said something like 'they were opposed contact game scenarios', ie, no score.

It's a pre season trial, essentially an opposed training session, we've seen all sorts of tricks over the years that confirm that a result is rarely what the teams are interested in

I am though.. the fact the result has been covered up makes me more intrigued. Did the sunwolves who face relegation win? If so they deserve the acknowledgement.... it's like their history is painted in glory!!

    If not let us know

No, as a matter of fact the Sunwolves don't necessarily deserve acknowledgement simply by "winning" a trial, For example,(and I've seen all of these happen)

They name a full strength side while their opposition play the possibles, sometimes swapping players into unfamiliar positions to see how they go
One team doesn't kick th ball at all, giving up field position and working on red zone defence and playing posession because they need it.
Entire squads are rotated willy nilly in an attempt to find unproven combinations
    and my personal favourite
a team plays only the plays that they know theyre not going to use during the season to put scouts off the scent of what they'll actually do.

When I was like you, and believed that trial form was an indicator of potential to win during the season I bet my hair that the Force beat the Tahs.

Ask some real Force fans how that went for me!

It wasn't an actual "pre season" match, it was more a "friendly" as part of their new partnership is my understanding.
