    Western Force fly-half Peter Grant has been forced to retire on medical advice because of head injuries.

    The news has devastated the side on the eve of the new Global Rapid Rugby season that kicks off in March.

    Sad to hear about Peter.

    Sad too that there will be no Japanese entrant in GRR for 2019. Fingers crossed it’s only because of the RWC disruption and they’ll be in for 2020.

    Sadd news about Peter, he was one of only a few who lived up to the hype. Where did you get the Japan info? I didn't see it confirmed in that article, did I miss something?

    Peter will be a great loss to the force. He was always that cool, calm collected head in times of pressure. Maybe he can take up a part time role as the kicking coach for the force?
