Clyne and Castle to address media at 12midday AEDT today!

Fox Sports saying press conference at 12pm Eastern.

Apparently to detail changes to their ‘high performance structure’...

    Stay tuned...

    Boring
Scott Johnson new director of Rugby, Chieka reports to him. A third (unnamed) selector will be appointed.
    Another HUGE let down...

You may need to explain and define what Grassroots is and does to this Board.

What does everyone envision that grassroots funding would go to, anyway? Specific programs? An injection of cash to clubs and perhaps allow membership fees to come down? Gear? Facilities? (Etc etc...)

Good on the SRU for asking for compensation.

Would love to know how much the compensation package was and how much RA is going to be paying Johnson. Surely it can’t be less than the compensation package they would have had to pay Cheika????

Might be more given that Johnson is paid in pounds. This will be the third payout the RA is forking out for this year that we know about. Pete Samu is definitely one. Luke Jones and Toomua were tapped up and signed for the Rebels after penning extensions.

Let's not forget the Rebels component of Quades wages is paid by RA.

Back on topic, RA have added another employee at head office to its list. What's that now, 175?0 To administer 23 Wallabies.

And Alison is on the money (scuz the pun), all that shill misdirection about how they couldn't afford to sack the coach has been shown up as more lies.

He's still there. All they have done is hire another member to the 30 person entourage that is following around the Wallabies. They think Johnson is gonna magically be the guy who brings centralisation to Australian Rugby but it won't be full centralisation, it will a mish mashed version, a poor 2nd option where the states retain autonomy and power over the ARU but spruik how well they work together and how well everything is going in magical imagination land.
