    WF cut in major surprise
Legal action started, then fail coz ARU don't reveal crucial information on Rebels deals that would void contract
Welborn testimony and Vaux email are evidence at Senate Inquiry
Clyne offered to resign if ridiculous demands met
Forrest doubles down and calls his bluff
$50m plus $20m offered....grassroots, Force is funded, compensation to SNZAFU etc so RA can't get their filthy MIT's on the lucre
Clyne and Robinson walk out on lunch in a huff
North, Clarke, Cox accidentally see WF contract details
Secret put option revealed for Rebels
Clyne, Slick Willy, Clarke lie through teeth to Senate Inquiry, Cox a no show.
Cox gets a brown paper bag of filthy lucre to save his bacon and trigger another secret put option for Rebels
Rebels sold for $1 to VRU which has no money
Rebels sign two entire squads including Wallabies, plus entire WF coaching staff, yet remain under celery cap
Rebels get no cash from dubious sponsors
Rebels sign Quade, Jones, Toomua, and others
    TWAT denies everything

    I'm sure I've missed something
My theory is that the VRU mobilised Cox to exercise the put option because they were worried that our legal action might succeed, in which case RA would be looking to can the Rebels to meet their commitment to SANZAAR to cut a SR team. Just my cynical view of the whole saga.

    Alison,

back to one of the original points.

Does RugbyWA and or you have a stance on the ownership of the Western Force IP?

It’s entirely a matter for Minderoo really as they essentially own the team that uses the Western Force name. RugbyWA is a totally separate legal entity and really only looks after the amateur side of the game in WA nowadays.

My personal view is that with the advent of GRR, the WA team should change its name to remove the shackles of the past and embrace a brand new era for professional rugby in WA.

I feel the same way actually. Although most people would know that I've quite figuratively nailed my colours to the mast, I reckon that if this new league is going to have teams with proper geographical monikers, WHICH THEY REALLY SHOULD DO, AS IT WAS ONE OF THE MARKETING FAILINGS OF STUPOR RUGBY IN AUSTRALIA, then I reckon we should call ourselves Western Australia and wear the State colours and even a coat-of-arms, the way the Brumbies used to do. I know that some don't like yellow/gold necessarily, but a primarily black jersey with a fair amount of gold/metallic gold/yellow would look pretty awesome.

Soccer clubs like Borussia Dortmund, NAC Breda, Roda JC, VVV Venlo, Vitesse Arnhem, etal; always manage to create pretty cool looking kits in WA's State colours- so I'm sure we could come up with something just as cool.

Has anyone got a Across the Tasman invite? The website appears to be working again.

It looks like ATT found out I was a naughty boy this year, Bakkies, otherwise I would have PM'd to get you an invite

Have sent these out previously, but it seems like some sort of upload history is now required. Sadly I don't have one.

Hopefully others here are in their good books and can help.

This gear from RugbyWa for next year does look good. I think it's for the women's Super W side et al.

Maybe it gets more widely adopted?
